The Rhythmic
Integration Panic Project provides
a one-session rapid-change method that markedly reduces the frequency of panic
attacks. The addressing of a new point in the panic
process and the immediacy of sustained evidenced-based results
have resulted in the method being called a "breakthrough" in treatment for
this condition.
What is a panic attack?
It is an seen as an intense experience of the “fight or
flight” response that causes the person to feel physical and emotional
sensations as if their lives were in danger, even though there is nothing to fear
at the time of the attack.
Panic
Attacks are described as extremely disruptive. Many symptoms occur within minutes, often
almost instantaneously. These include:
Breathing disturbances
Pounding or rapid heart beat
Stomach Distress
Dizziness
Trembling or Shaking
Feeling of Choking
Sweating
Chest Pains
Numbness or Tingling
Chills or Hot Flashes.
Often, there is more:
Thoughts of dying or going crazy,
Feelings of unreality, and a wish to escape.
All this is a Panic Attack,
but something physical, a Body Starter outside of the sufferers awareness, precedes
and readies the attack.
A
number of Body Starters have been found. They are visible to trained observers.
Once
a person's Body Starter has been identified by the Facilitator, a process of change is
begun which stops the attack from beginning. The change process uses a protocol
built around the stages of the Rhythmic Integration Cycle of Change. Through it the frequent panic sufferer is helped
to:
- Unconsciously exhibit the Starter to the Facilitator.
- Learn to identify and feel for themselves when the Starter appears, making it conscious.
- Explore the possibilities that awareness of the Starter provides, and understand the cause and limits of an attack.
- Note the differences and similarities between Starter and Panic Attack Feelings.
- Break the link that ties the Starter to the disturbing thoughts and emotions that follow.
- Learn a method to instantly dissolve the physical and emotional tensions of the Starter.
The
process is safe, simple and DOES NOT AROUSE A PANIC ATTACK AS PART OF ITS METHOD.
Built around one 90-minute session, The
Rhythmic Integration Panic Project Program is
cost and time effective. As it does not
involve medication, there are no medical side-effects. It provides help out of sufferings many call "profound."
Results
can be expected immediately. With
experience the individual soon gains confidence about the change. Ongoing
uncertainty is limited. After the intervention, three follow-up phone
conversations cover questions and concerns that arise from the
change; e.g., ongoing pharmaceutical issues when applicable, working to move
through phobic responses, etc.
WHAT'S
REQUIRED OF THE PARTICIPANT?
What
is required is to want the change from one's own motivation, and to follow the steps
of the Panic Protocol during the
session. It is safe, respectful and not against any fundamental values a person
holds.
